Respectfully, I think this forum is too focused on roles. Best player available. If he’s dissatisfied on the bench, he can play better or shove it.

In a vacuum that makes sense. But rarely does that work in a team setting. A disgruntled player can cause locker room division. 

I'd rather have everyone be happy with their roles and expectations than to sign the BPA for the 15th slot and have him sit and stew.
