The Mavs have 4.7M to work with below the apron if they waive Lawson. Technically you could sign 2 Vet Min players and remain $526,220 below the Apron but F Gump has pointed out that the Mavs will likely leave 1M or more of cushion. So to answer your question, it seems unlikely.

I did the math earlier on adding two vet minimum players after waiving Lawson.
