MacMahon says his understanding is that Luka Doncic is “pretty ecstatic” about the Klay Thompson addition

He also says he threw out Dennis Smith Jr.‘s name as an addition to the roster to “someone in the organization and it didn’t get shot down.”


Stems from this tweet, which is quoting MacMahon on his podcast. I haven't listened to the podcast so I don't know exactly what MacMahon said.

That's what I thought I saw earlier. But I read that as "He" (Cato) threw out DSJ's name to someone in the org. If the "he" was Luka, I'd think it would be phrased differently.

Agree with other posters that there's no evidence Luka wouldn't be happy to have DSJ come back--just not sure there's any evidence that he's breaking his "I leave the GM'ing to the GM" rule to ask for a specific player.
