I'm hoping for a four year deal, with the fourth year being a team option.

Team option would make that 4th year much better, so that would be fine. 

3rd year, non-guaranteed, would be even better, but maybe that's too much to hope for. 

Either way, I don't expect he'll be here 3-4 years. Two would be my guess.
