I might be wrong, but I think if Grant was actually an option available to the Mavericks for what they can give up, it would’ve been done already. I think that was the true, unannounced plan A. There’s just too much smoke out there about it.

I agree.  I think both the Lakers and Mavs are waiting on Grant to see if the Blazers make him available.
