Which probably indicates he was out on the Mavs a while ago. I agree with previous takes that it is more about the role than money. Although, I can't see Clippers giving him a starting role. Mann, Kawhi, Harden, Zubac are all in front of him and there were a lot of rumors that DeRozan is also their target.

Yeah, I thought DeRozan was a shoe-in, but I don’t know how they get that done now.
