So, it was about the money and a starting job, not about the change of agent period. 

Good for him. I hope that was the most he could’ve gotten, because he deserves to start making some money, finally.

agree and best wishes to him. LA being a big market also makes part of the motive for him to sign there imho. money is what matters most for him it's understandable, and a starting role will grant him more money in his next contract which will be his first (and also probably the only) lucrative contract for him, assuming he can continue to play this good, or even better over the next three years.

Nico must have known this (or been notified from DJJ's side) so he had to resort to plan b.
