If Klay chooses an LA team, can't the Mavs get Naji via the TPE and then keep DJJ at the full MLE?

Obviously DJJ is not a thing anymore. But on where the Mavs stand ....

Without Klay, right now Mavs are at the tax line. There's only about 7.5M spread to the Apron, minus a cushion (because it's a hard cap), minus incentives that get added in, so they only would have about 5M of Apron room. 

Would they chase a SNT w NO to spend that Apron room? Seems unlikely. The total amount they can spend would continue to be an issue. (Getting Klay would require adding spending room by sending out Green  and his 12.65M salary.)

Because of the tax situation, I don't think the Mavs will keep spending and swapping, unless it's to get someone they think would make a BIG difference.
