This is the same Klay Thompson that thrived off ball for 3 years behind Curry and Durant. 

Yes he will be fine behind Kyrie and Luka.

Still a big difference between a heliocentric system and the Warriors off ball movement. I have no doubt that Klay would hit open looks at an absurd rate but the question is if he is getting the same amount of shot attempts in a system that isn't known for set plays, curls screens, split actions.
Mavs would need to make some changes. You aren't trading for Klay (even more at this stage of his career, with his defensive short comings) to park him in the corner.
