My guess is Klay gets slightly above the nontaxpayer midlevel ($12.9M) as a starting salary and gets multiple years.
It would also signals that he still wants to play to win, otherwise the 50/2 by Orlando are financially superior. I just have a very hard time that is what will happen.
If it does, I´ll give Nico a thumbs-up (assuming it then becomes Green or Kleber/Powell). At that number it also becomes a contract that is trade and S/W-buyoutable for tanking teams.
EDIT: Maybe it was also never just THJ + three 2nd round picks for Grimes. Maybe there is this hidden component, that they could not report yet. For example Green goes to Detroit, Klay goes to Dallas and X (Stewart?) goes to GS. Or Detroit just stay stupid.
