Good info, but I think he's forgetting that Dallas is already hard capped, due to sending out cash in a trade.

The trade isn't completed yet, so this is likely similar to one of those vintage Mavs-make-a-ton-of-rearranging-deck-chairs-on-the-Titanic-moves summers where the order of operations matters big time.
