I'm just glad that this organization is in such a good place that people are frustrated/worried that we may some sign someone as talented as Klay Thompson. I realize this will probably be via sign and trade, but can we list all the great players that we've signed over the years better than Klay Thompson?

Great players past their prime has been a theme in Dallas. I think the organizations is in a good place because they changed their approach and would be disappointed if they fall back into bad habits of the past. Klay isn't as bad as DAJ or Deron Williams when they signed with the Mavs but the vibes are similar.
It obviously comes down to the contract size but if he is asking for 20+ million and a starting role the impact/production he showed post injury simply isn't enough.
