1 I don't understand the talk about Kennard. It feels irrelevant. I see the desirability of him, but no path to get him, so he's not really an alternative to whatever else is on the table.
2 SKen "Remember that a large part of THJ's game was lost following lower body injuries (*hockey term). I am a little leery of paying Klay after injury without a larger sample of his play following said time." .... That's not a realistic objection, since his injuries essentially ended several YEARS ago. We already have a huge sample to consider.
He came back in the last GS title year, missing the first 38 games, and since then it has looked like this...
21-22 Regular season - 32 of 44 played, 30 mpg. Postseason - 22 of 22 played, 36 mpg.
22-23 Regular season - 69 of 82 played (none of the missed games were consecutive, so the "load management" thing in play), 33 mpg. Postseason - 13 of 13 played, 36 mpg.
23-24 Regular season - 77 of 82 played, 30 mpg
