Green+Tim combine for 28.8M. Mavs do a declining deal and give Klay 2/50 or 3/75. Something in that neighborhood. Klay turned down a 2 year deal from GS at a reported big discount. He made $43M last year so what’s a big discount?

Does that interest anyone?

I am actually surprised Mavs seem to be interested in him (or at least some betting sites think so). Is he really that much better/different than THJ at this stage of his career ? I don't think we can start him and he would still be very expensive to come from the bench. 

If I would be interested in him, I would try to think more in terms of 80/4 for THJ/Green (going to a third team), which would give reasonable space to resign DJJ.
