Stein said in his newsletter today, that Mavs are working directly with THJs agent to find a new home for him.

Mark Bartelstein’s son, Josh Bartelstein (now with the Suns), used to work in the Detroit front office. He was also a college teammate of Tim Hardaway Jr. at Michigan.

I am sure the Bartelsteins have many connections to Detroit, even if the personnel may have changed recently.
