I think it would be the opposite.  Why on earth would Lindsey endorse bringing in a guy he knows totally collapsed during the playoffs?  

In fact, I can't for the life of me think of any team that would actually want THJ other than a vet min type of thing.

So the conversation was maybe like,

Nico: No Trajan, you can’t talk to Lindsey till our THJ deal is firm.
