Grimes and Avdija would be really good gets. That roster looks good, except for Dwight Powell and Markieff Morris.

I think O-Max fills the PF spot, instead of Morris... and the Mavs FO should buy an early 2nd round pick to draft Nikola Djurisic. O-Max is a defensive player, so take another flyer on a young skilled forward who might be able to contribute in the future, even if only as backup to Luka.

Then the Mavs FO should try to swap Dwight for Goga Bitadze. Goga is a big body Center who can be used to slow down Jokic, Embiid types... whereas Dwight is chopped liver. TBH, I think the Denver Nuggets should pick up Goga themselves, to finally get a decent backup at Center. So maybe the Mavs FO could send out Maxi and Dwight for Isaiah Stewart, since Beef Stew can play both the 4 and 5.

For the PG VetMin*, maybe Aaron Holiday? He did decent for the Rockets in 2023-24.
