Givony made a good argument today that we simply do not look into enough. Washington is the safest way to minutes and a life changing (max) contract extension. Then Veccine made another argument about "nobody knows who is making the decisions in Atlanta right now" (sounds familiar), so while there is rebuilding buzz, what if they try to compete instead? Minutes and money won´t be that easy to come by with Johnson/Hunter/Okungwu as the designated starters.

Right now Washington has 11M committed to Avdija in 2027/2028. Coulibaly will be a RFA and then there is absolutely nothing. Unless Sarr is complete sh*t he´s getting a bag in Washington. Atlanta has Murray/Okungwu on the books for 50M. Young and Hunter as FAs.

Plus he might be tight with Coulibaly from the French youth national teams.

I can see the logic from Sarr´s POV.
