I don´t expect him to sign a minimum deal, but $20-25M or even the MLE for a S&T to a contender that added Bronny. I could totally see that. If Lebron wants to play with his son on a contender, he´ll have to take a discount anyway, cause LeBron at $50M will likely be a net negative trade for all the assets and cap flexibility you´ll lose in the trade process.
I don't think "trade asset" will enter into the thinking for either side. I think the Lakers will give him much, much more than what is appropriate for his age and current contribution (as impressive as it still is at his age) because they'll never, ever trade him. He is the one and only thing that has saved that franchise since the end of the Jackson/Bryant era. I think he is bringing in more money for the franchise than they could ever pay him, and my guess is that, like Dirk here, if he tells them he wants to keep playing when he's 57, they'll let him do it, and probably almost completely on his terms.
