Ant is not HIM. TPups are not the team. Luka is Him. Mavs are the team!

I don't know how you came to the conclusion that I don't like Anthony Edwards 
Pointing out that he isn't MJ or Kobe isn't exactly an insult. I just got sick of everyone riding Ant and that includes you. You kept saying how much better Minnesota was and Ant was and to expect it to be different in game 2. We won again. You can defend Ant all you want. I'm going to keep defending the Mavs and they are the better team, like I said before game 2 while you were pumping up how great Minnesota is.

I picked the Mavs to win the series. 

I have written, for weeks, that I preferred the matchup against the Wolves over the matchup with Denver. 

I like BASKETBALL, and I often get the sense reading here (this part isn't directed at you AT ALL, just a general sense of the community) that many contributors only watch Mavs games. I don't get the chance to watch as many other teams' games as I used to, but I still do my best, and from time to time, I attempt to offer my thoughts about what is going on in the league, not just on the team. If you don't like that, fine, but no one is forcing you to read my posts. None of it is meant to offend you or anyone else. 

And sorry if the post above offended you, btw. You started yours with "no disrespect" so I took that to mean you'd recognize the significance of that in the reply. That was genuine, not sarcastic (I know that can be difficult to gage on a forum - I misread people's tone all the time). I totally agree that the media is pushing Edwards as an agenda, and I couldn't care less about whether or not he's as good as some all time great. I have just seen him do some things this season and especially in rounds 1 or 2 that I found VERY impressive. I LOVE his game, when it's going well (kudos to you for confidently predicting it wouldn't in this series) and I actually do think he's one of the best players in the league already - the one who's currently learning how hard a deep playoff run can be, the hard way. 

Of course he's not better than Luka. He's 22! Maybe he will be someday, maybe he won't. I couldn't be less interested in that conversation at this time. I don't really pay attention to those silly narratives, and the point of my last post is that if we, the Dallas/Luka fans, get drawn offsides by that crap, the silly narrative generators have gotten what they want. I think there's a ton of that going on here (again, not directed at anyone specifically) and I think it's a shame that it causes some to hate on a great young player needlessly, when some of them might actually enjoy watching him if they weren't predisposed to see him as a way to prove the "national perception" wrong. 

Honestly, if you're upset by this, then I think you're either missing my intent/tone or I'm not making myself clear. That bums me out, because you're one of my favorite people around here. I'm ecstatic that the Mavs/Kidd/Luka seem to be the more prepared, superior team in this series (despite predicting it, it's still happening in ways I might not have seen coming) and for me, a healthy respect for Edwards makes that BETTER, not worse.
