Just went through the portal from West Virginia to Kentucky after playing 3 years at Arizona. Sounds like he's either gone to the portal or threatened to go just about every offseason. Career averages of 9.7ppg/2.3 rpg/ 4.7 apg.
Says Luka stole "77" from him.
He's 23, about a year younger than Luka, but is still playing NCAA ball and is likely on nobody's draft radar. So at best he'll be a 24yo rookie, if he even gets a contract. We all know what Luka's accomplished by age 24.
Wondering if he was ever any kind of wunderkind in Europe that would warrant his big mouth over here.
I am not sure I have read anything so ridiculous before. Kid is younger than Luka and claims Luka stole "his" number... What did he do to earn a claim for sole possession of that number? There are thousands of basketball players around the world and I would assume Luka and this nobody are not the only ones wearing 77.
Luka took 77 because 7, which was his number in Europe, was "stolen" by Powell.
Guy is a "nobody", played against Luka once and is being smart. Slovenia won that game by 20. Luka scored 25 points on 9 of 18 shooting with 11 rebounds and 8 assists. "Nobody" got 14

Btw, he is wearing number 25 on his Arizona jersey on the wiki page. So there must be some other player(s) "stealing" "his" number there too. Just all around ridiculous. But I guess nowadays is enough to say something stupid to make the media.
