If the Mavs hoist the Larry this year, it will be a combination of 1) staying healthy, and 2) Dante Exum stepping up and becoming That Guy.

Who had a tiebreaker?

If the Mavs had the tiebreaker, it was stupid to rest the stars. If the Clippers did, all is forgiven.

Clippers had the tie breaker. Mavs had to win out while the Clips had to lose out in order for them to get the 4th seed.

I think rest is a bit more important vs starting the playoffs at home, but who knows? Mavs decided for us.
