I know it's heresy to say this but KP adds a higher floor than Doncic does by himself on this particular team. Doncic is great and both of them are great, but KP's defense does so much for this team. Mavs have other guards that can distribute, even if they aren't of the quality of Doncic. By floor I just mean Mavs can piece together wins more without Luka than they can KP it appears. All that to say we need both healthy and with both healthy this team is in contention.
