I don't disagree, but I feel its a fool's errand to target #1 or #2 when Mavs can get eliminated in the play in by the California teams (you can bet that the refs won't be on our side if push comes to shove). I'd rather get that guaranteed play off spot to be honest whoever is the opponent. Its probably a moot point now as play in seems like an inevitable eventuality.
