You're right, but problem is the refs were inconsistently calling contact all night long. PHX got away with a bunch of similar contact no calls. I mean Nurkic literally tackled Luka.
If they were consistent, that would've been a no call. The Suns got a real soft whistle while the Mavs had to deal with the opposite.
So yes it was a foul on Gafford, but it shoulda been an absolute decimation.
