Yeah, that was a nice game to watch! I'm trying to think of trades the Pacers could make that would turn them into favorites from the East. Came up with these:
1) Swap Myles Turner for Porzingis. If they can convince the Celtics about this, it would be dual addition by subtraction.
One, by trading away Turner, and two, by taking Porzingis away from a rival. Turner's rim protection or deterrence isn't that good cause he's not long enough, strong enough, explosive enough or mobile enough. Pacers have to add pick(s).2) Trade Ben Sheppard (+?) for Quentin Grimes. (Grimes is someone the Mavs should trade for. He would also be real nice for the Nuggets.)
Their defensive efficiency probably skyrockets with these two trades.
1-5: Haliburton, Grimes, Nesmith, Siakam, Porzingis
6-10: Nembhard, Hield, Mathurin, Walker, Jackson/Smith
