Offense is not a problem, even as it is. Defense is. First games after the trade were full of energy, probably caused by the changes. That is why they played better. The energy was not there last two games. Also to note (as I posted previously), opponents in those first three games after the trade had really bad shooting nights, while Mavs were great. I don't see how they could improve on defense. Maxi will hopefully help some, but I don't think it is enough. Last two games was just a lay-up line for opponents. Fox and Edwards were basically doing whatever they wanted, got to their spots without any problems.

I agree with this part. That is why I think they will remain somewhere in the 4-6 position.
