It’s worse than that. I think he probably COULD have come up with something better if they’d had a timeout, but they had to burn their last one immediately after their second to last one, simultaneously, in order to advance the ball because Luka took that dribble. The coach and his star PG weren’t even on the same page about how to handle the late game situation.
