I am not sure why is that, but I am somehow far less emotionally attached to the national team than to NBA season. I guess I can't stand amateur approach, which is why Mavs are also "losing" me...Slovenia has a top5 player in the world but we put a total no name coach to this team, so I am not that surprised by the end result. I don't think he has any authority and his decisions were questionable. I think he was outclassed both against Bosnia, to an extent against Belgium and of course yesterday. All games against teams that are worse than ours on paper were the same - guys went in as if they will win it easy playing at 50 % strength. No defense, no energy. Against opponent, who is maximally motivated and without any pressure. This is not regular season NBA, where there is always another game and where losses are part of every day play. Almost every game is like elimination here. No second chances. Of course this is to an extent on players, but also on the coach. If he can't find a way to motivate them, than perhaps someone else should try.
