Drummond's dominance allowed for the team to not have to work as hard throughout the game. They were then able to do what they did in the end. Drummond doesn't have to be the winning player, he just has to give us a chance at the end for the rest of the guys to do what they are supposed to do, esp when they haven't had to use up all their effort throughout the game trying to push against the unstoppable force, not being the immovable object. I showed where almost every team starts a large body, they all give them different minutes, but alleviating Powell's need to be the ONLY guy that has to go up against these guys would help him in the 21mpg he gets too.
Like SH said, it gives the defenders different looks as a more diversified team. I said AD is not the guy I'd choose, but if he's all that was left and only cost vet min or slightly more? I'm good with it. Give me a 9 minute double double, there's no possible way that hinders the outcome of a game.
