My biggest issue with Powell was exposed last night. He gets pushed around by the strong guys in the NBA. He himself looks strong, but he still gets pushed around. I thought I had seen a bit of fight with him during this latest run, and that NY game may prove to just be an off night, but the biggest reason we don’t do well rebounding is because even when he (and Maxi) have position, they get pushed out of position too easily.
Our 2 best “bigs” mostly get bullied too easily and come playoff basketball, when whistles are swallowed and intensity rises, they will most likely not be enough. Either they need to figure this out or we need guys who already have it figured out.
