I think that Brunson's connection with the Knicks has to do with the fact that his father and Rose are close friends... I wouldn't say they are bad, rather they are in the middle of a construction that they accelerated, due to the good results... Aside from that with a core of Barrett/Reddish/Toppin/Robinson...Brunson seems to be a perfect fit both agewise and positionally in a primary managerial role.
