I agree with what you are saying above, but do we have the guys to make this strategy advantageous for us?
What you are talking about is a secondary creator of offense -- only from a different position. Drive-and-kick is not the only way to create offense, and you're noting one of the others.
It would need to be a big with amazing passing skills, but probably who also would tend to draw double-teams to open passing lanes. I wonder if they envisioned this for KP ... but if so, it sure hasn't worked out yet.
