But in looking for pluses that may emerge from the lack of another creator of offense, let's not imagine this was the preferred way all along, and some sort of Kidd priority.
The Mavs were TOTALLY FOCUSED on adding a secondary creator, and failed to get one this summer (at least, so far). That was clearly what they felt was most important. Plain and simple. And they whiffed.
