AROUND the NBA: ATL Jumps from #10 to #1 in Lotto| Pistons Mull Firing GM
What's going on tonight? Klay Thompson makes 10 3's and scores 54 pts in a Warriors 143-141 double overtime win over the Hawks. Klay might be finding his  groove. Dubs are 17-2 at home, best in the NBA.

That 17-2 stat is the one that is really jumping out at me. That's elite.

Klay catching fire at this point is expected. Dude is top 3 all time 3pt shooter and the Hawks can't defend. Funny that Klay+Poole combined for 70 shots

Such a bizarre switch-up on the road
3-16 and only the Pistons have more road losses
You'd expect that in a really young team not the defending champs.

Zion having a lower body injury is the least surprising thing ever. His lower body being healthy is what is the most shocking thing ever.

That's an insane line.  His game has exploded.  He used to be just a scorer.  He's now definitely that, but fills the rest of the stat line.

I bet the Knicks are kicking themselves for not trading for him. He's made Cleveland a threat. I only wonder who would have went to Utah in the deal?

Somebody reported the offer they made, and it included a lot of their good young depth.  I don't think it would have worked out nearly as well in NY.  Mitchell is a much better fit in Clevland.

That poor kid is a walking injury report.
We didn't make the cut but thanks for all the support!

Too bad. He was having a good season. N.O. are near the top of the West, and they've been without Ingram mostly. They look scary if they get everyone healthy.

Which = not very scary at all.
Pessimism doesn’t make you smart, just pessimistic.

Celtics getting blown out by OKC tonight which will put them on a two game losing streak.  Will probably have an imported effort against the Mavs on thursday

West just so wide open yet again
Really hope we can pull off some kind of trade to solidify the team

There was talk recently of maybe Gafford (WAS) being a desirable and feasible target. But since then, he has been put into the starting lineup, with his minutes greatly increased, and the Wiz have had much better results (even though playing a string of harder opponents).

Unless this was a showcase to try to get some interest before the TDL, where someone takes his much larger contract off the Wiz' hands, he may be playing himself out of the Mavs price range now.

OKC team without SGA crushed BOS, with 122 on the scoreboard at the end of 3! Eventually they hung a buck and a half on them. Goodness!

What is going on. So many 50 point games this season and all happening within like 2 weeks of each other.
