Yet this seems like the exact thing the IIC will do.

All of the other baggage aside - and there's a mountain of it - I just had a horrific vision of the first "gimme the damn ball" timeout argument between Luka and Kyrie - less than five games into the latter's arrival.

The most I'd do is Din/THJ/Bertans for Irving/Harris.  Truly someone will offer a lot more.

This is Kidd's dream: he never has to think about coaching again or making any play calls out of timeouts.

I see this happening just because of Cuban.

Has Kyrie ever had that issue with Durant?

Durant is his buddy with an MVP trophy. Luka is Euro kid (in Kyrie's eyes).

No...there's a lot of folks on this board right now making up issues with Kyrie that don't exist.  Plenty of other ones to focus on so it's strange that we're trying to find new ones.

When Kyrie Irving is on the basketball floor the only team he is causing problems floor is the opponent.

Unfortunately, then there's the locker room after the game, not to mention practice, flying to games together...

Kyrie for Dinwiddie, Wood, one unprotected FRP

Immediate 2 year max extension part of the deal

Makes sense for both teams

I wouldn't give up a 1st for Kyrie, but I'd happily move THJ, Dribblewidme, and Hardy for him. It consolidates 2 bad defenders into one at the cost of a 2nd rounder who won't see the court in the playoffs anyway.

Yes, for sure!  We can talk about how he is trouble for a coach in the locker room and a front office problem, those are totally fair debates.

But making up stuff about Kyrie yelling at teammates makes absolutely no sense.  His teammates historically have all seemed to like him.

Right? We are not in a position to say no to any healthy superstar that can play basketball and we can obtain. He’s an all star starter. One of the maybe 10 best players in the world. It’s definitely worth the gamble to try to get Luka some help. If it works it’s a steal

Good thing Harden and Luka are completely unsimilar players.

I’m getting that same feeling as before the KP trade. Hopefully this one works out better.

Kyrie's crazy AF, but if this is the price, count me in. He's one of the best ballers in the world.

I can’t imagine a world where Kyrie demands a trade and also demands Brooklyn paying the 15% trade kicker so Kyrie can get an extension with his new team.
