Halliburton is nice and all, but feels like Indy almost gave Sabonis away with that return.

My guess is that Indiana's asking price for Turner in a Dallas deal started with Brunson. Don't know if he gets moved now or not, but I bet it's not to Dallas now that they have their PG.

Compared to their original asking price, SAC got a steal for Sabonis.

My educated guess reading the tea leaves is that Dallas was in on Turner with a deal including Maxi. Kleber went from out tonight to probable right before the Sabonis deal went down.

We'll see soon enough whether KP and Sterling's injuries are equally malleable.

Wonder how long before Turner's back on court?

That means the tank is on. Expiring Harrell, KCP (semi) and Bryant on the move?

Agree. Also shouldn't have problem taking THJ. But again, why wasting pick for some players that are not difference makers. Mavs are not that close

I'd be all over Holmes right now.

1 of those 4 players can shoot the basketball consistently pass 16 feet and none of them are on the Kings. Thats why it won't work.

The Pacers tried the 2 center combo with a more talented Turner next to Sabonis with a complimenting skillset. Still didn't work. Thats why Holmes should be traded.

If the Kings take THJ, I don´t even care who they send us. Big Grin

I would go with THJ and Moses for Dinwiddie and Bryant. More or less straight up, perhaps a second rounder added. Mavs get bench creation and more contractual flexibility. Not sure why we would need another C, so perhaps flip Bryant to the third team. Perhaps Denver for Green - they could also provide dfraft assets to Washington. I think best flexibility for Mavs are contracts expiring in 2023, which can be used in draft day trades.

I will take him instead of THJ.....not that I am really a fan of HB.  Maybe we could make him another scoring option off the bench...and maybe he will fit better in Kidds system......and maybe he can still play defense.   Maybe I am out of my mind.

Having said that, if we are hurting ourselves in any way with the salary cap....forget it.

Like who? Please don´t tell me it´s 45/28/87 Porzingis? Career 44/35/82 shooting for a big and people act like he´s some special big man shooting talent. He ranks 344th on NBA.com in EFG% this season.

I thought about that one for a moment, but then I figured you can still straight salary dump him, if you want to.

As opposed to career 25% 3pt shooter (on 0.5 attempts) in Holmes or career 32% (on 1.7 attempts) Sabonis. Yeah KP is in another league when it comes to shooting. Im quite confused why you're even arguing this point.
