Nike connection, or is there more to it?

Obviously he has a closer connection with Nike clients, but in his job he has to know all the players. Zach Lavine signed a four year deal with Adidas in 2017, maybe he needs a new and better shoe deal. A while ago I suggested Nike could pay Luka extra under the table to sign the QO and go to the Knicks. Now it´s us doing the shady business. Well played, Mr. Cuban.

Glad he's coming in as the GM. He and Fin with some occasional prodding by Cuban+Dirk should be more than enough voices in the room

Now, will Bob be retained in some analytics/advisory role similar to the one he had before? Will they be transparent about this, or hope nobody asks about it? If he's back, will the internal problems people had with him be acknowledged, or will this be a "you're welcome to leave. There's the door" message from Cuban to those people? 

I think it's likely that the most important anti-Voulgaris people are now gone, but from the wording of both Cato and Amick (and MacMahon) in the article and interviews, I think there are MANY others who were not fans of his that might still be around. Who knows, maybe Harrison and Kidd will replace all of those people, too, just because...for reasons having nothing to do with Voulgaris.

That was our speculation. They never told us that, but some of us connected dots and thought that was the plan. Seems like it wasn't. I think Harrison is literally the new Donnie - president AND GM, with Finley under him in the exact, same role he has always had (though possibly feeling like his skills are more necessary now, and less redundant).
