Lowry, Paul, Conley, Dragic... They'll certainly have some options.

Random thought... what's the clearest path to reuniting Lowry and DeRozan in Dallas?

Based on what Lowry will be looking for, there probably isn't one.

That KP long pause and wry smile before answering the question...
And Luka's defensive answer to the question..
There is definitely tension there.

I didn't think that at all. You have questions trying to stir the pot, so to speak. And Luka simply deflecting, and saying, "Hey it's on me. I had a bad game. Gotta do better."

Then the followup, 'Well, why did you guys get off to a bad start? Did you have players who didn't take this game seriously?" - "Anybody can have a bad game."

I thought it was a great set of answers. He showed maturity in not biting on the bait. Good for him.

Agree. Media trying to make a big deal and the only thing that might come of it would be that it becomes a thing. Normal guys are able to solve this kind of things. Media jumping in will never help.

You guys are probably right, I guess what I am saying is that if he really wanted to own up to it, he could have said its on me to get KP more involved in the offense as the main ballhandler/facilitator/decision maker on the court..Not blaming Luka on this, I think their lack of a go to two man game really limits KP's involvement in the offense especially in crunch time.

Worst thing Luka coulda done would have been to go down the trail of trying to answer that question. One will lead to another, when it comes to the "Who do we blame" or "How will you fix it next time" questions, after a loss. You can't win.

It's like the movie War Games. The only winning move is to not play.

Underrated 80s movie, for those who have not seen it.

Great reference.
14x All-Star, 12x all-NBA, 1x MVP, 1x Finals MVP, 1 NBA Championship: Dirk Nowitzki, the man, the myth, the legend.

Dirk's the best person ever and that's the most important thing.

If the Mavs had won in Houston, they would be tied with Portland and only 1.5 games back of the Lakers.  Still, beating the Jazz and the Bucks mitigates that a bit, maybe.

Nope. War Games is the correct movie reference. Starred (very young) Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy. Wopper was the semi-sentient computer.
