He is so fluid and was a late starter.  He is a natural. 

II can’t blame the Mavs for not drafting him due to his age but the guy is skilled and there are players who have played a lot of years in the league and made a lot of money like a Harrison Barnes and I have never seen that type of fluidity from him. So it’s not just the age.

Yeah, I’m just saying he has had a few more years in the weight room than most of the other guys on the floor.

Johnson has been great considering the a** play of Nembhard at PG. Can they actually pass Ishchenko the ball once the 20 times he´s unmarked at the 3pt line. Sometimes I wonder whether these guys are just a** or trying to freeze out their competition even in these SL games.

On paper, I thought they might be serious about making a run this year, but no, not so much. They’re pretty disappointing except, thankfully Rez, who’s the only one they’re really counting on for the rotation.

Morez reminds me of Isiah Stewart.  He's great at moving his feet but doesnt seem to elevate to block shots.  Dude had a 39 inch vertical at the combine.  Doesn't play like it.

I think he is one of many young guys on the Mavericks, who will benefit greatly from getting stronger. I think his vertical game is being affected by how hard he’s having to work to stay on balance in the paint.

But what I love about him so far is that he seems to understand the game at a very, very high-level. I don’t know if the Mavs have ever drafted a big who could just naturally hoop the way he is out there today. Lively could do it on defense, but this guy looks comfortable on both ends immediately.

It's also hard to tell playing with a bunch of scrubs.  GS was getting into the paint easily and he looked confused whether to attack the penetrator and go for the shot block or stay with his man.

Not just muscle. Skill level brother. Skill level.  He is putting that ball on the floor and moving so fluidly. 

For me it’s always the fluidity and quick processing that stands out in players. I see the fluidity in Yaxel and De Larrea’ processing of angles is very good. 

I am also happy that Rez has shown some very positive signs.

I can see that a little bit. But he looks stronger out there than Stewart.

I will say he's already had an emphatic block with his head near the rim. I just think he needs more windup to get off the floor than others. I think his defensive game will just look better around other better defenders that can stay on their guy. His weakside defense is some of the most polished I've seen in a SL game. Reminds me a LOT of DLive in that way, but more mobile.

Rez is a double-double every night. He won't be on the highlight reels, but he'll be critical inside the paint.

And that´s what you want from your big. If he can score within 10 feet in multiple ways you got a very useful big. I mean did this feel like a 14/6 half?

Rez is taller than Stewart. Rez has legit center size that you can play him there and not call him a small ball center.
