Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg will be on 20-25 minutes restriction tonight

P.J. Washington will be on 30 minute restriction according to Jason Kid

Another win coming. They´ll win 2-3 more games, then Cuban will convince Dumont that Kyrie should play this year and they can make a play-in push which will be good for establishing a winning mentality.

Gotta be disheartening for players when your fans just want you to lose.

Cut down on the 7 turnovers, and it’s a big lead.

Ugly game. Two bad teams. Mavs can’t shoot and are turning the ball over. They are rebounding though.

Not a great run, but the cooper, nemby with two shooters is a fun lineup.

Flagg with 11pts 9rbs at half. +17
Max 3/7 (43%) from 3PT with 9pts. +23

Win or Lose. You want your 19 & 22 year old to play well..

When they shoot from three good and don’t turn the ball over, they can be competing against a lot of teams.

When they don’t, I guess they can still be competitive against this warriors team. Neither team shot well or took care of the ball in the first half.

Why in the world do you pull Flagg?

Your “tanking” Mavs have won 5 of their last 6.

Yeah I'm not sure they can tank at this point. They play so hard they are going to keep winning games.

Well the warriors don’t have much besides hero ball for Steph. They are going to really struggle the second half of the season. I don’t see them as a playoff team.

The wins for the Mavs are not great. I did like the pace of the Mavs in the second half.

Max really playing well. Nights like this make you think Marshall can fit. Get more shooters, spread the floor and he can be lethal in the paint. Even made the threes.

Told you. If nothing else the Cuban Mavs are painfully predictable.

Bye bye lottery...hello play-in

Naji Marshall is just unstoppable when his 3-pt shot falls. IF his jumpshot is working then he is an MVP-caliber player. The only problem is that his jumper doesn't always work  Big Grin

I again hope Naji retires a Mav.

If we can unload Davis for a good haul, I like our chances this season

That was about as ugly a first 3 quarters of basketball played by both teams as I’ve seen in a while. Kidd rolls out the Caleb Martin, “pointless” lineup for the first 5 minutes of each half as well. I think we had 10 of our turnovers during that stretch. Is JK rewarding Martin for playing hard? I hope any shine that Martin has rubbed off after tonight’s stat line. Yes he hustled a bit on defense, but we play 4 on 5 on the offensive end when he’s out there. On a positive note, I like what I see out of Christie. He’s playing with more confidence, and he’s starting to hunt his shot. There was a moment in the second half where the Christie had the ball on a semi fast break at the top of the circle, and Klay was waving for him to pass the ball off to his right. Max looked him off and drained the 3. I thought that was a pretty cool moment for him.

The Mavs beat GS in every shooting statistic as well as rebounding (D Powell had a double-double). More 3-point volume and 3-point makes help open the game up for a young team.

The Mavs simply can't be a "good" team until they fix their turnovers. Those are deadly on most nights and might have killed us against GS had we not been much better than GS in other areas.

I hope they cash in on this hot run.  He is screwing up the tank, he might be in a narrow window where he has significant value, he has questionable fit with Flagg and he will be on the wrong side of 30 by the time this team is ready to contend.
