Well the Lakers played a late game last night, so I assume you get very limited minutes from key players tonight from LAL (If at all).   From a Mavs perspective, I would love to see Brandon Williams and Caleb Martin.    

I saw a bit of the Lakers game last night (5-10 minutes).  Luka is in incredible shape.  At first, I didn't even recognize him on the court until he got the ball.    If you look at his shape when he started the season from to last year to this year it is such a drastic change.

So if the Mavs have a Flagg, PJ, Lively front court, who are your ideal guards to pair with this grouping?

Lakers said Luka will play in 2 preseason games and they have one more after this one. Since it is a B2B friendly, I also assume Luka will be out tonight.

Kyrie changes everything, but i'm not sure they'll be able to stay afloat that long without good guard play.

Exum cant get healthy. Hardy has regressed. Nembhard is tiny. D'Lo who knows.

A trade of Klay, P.J. or Gafford for a guard might help balance this thing. But who and when?

I have high hopes. But tonight is ugly. This is supposed to be dress rehearsal against 2 string players.   They have Gabe Vincent looking like Steph.

Well another poor shooting three point performance. Tough to win when you are outshoot from three by large margins. And Dallas still isn’t doing the small things well. Only preseason though but some weird signs.

Lively and Flagg not huge stats but I really like how they played. The shots and flow they get with Nembhard are just drastically different when nembhard is out of the game. Good sign for him.
