Trade & FA 2025-26: Free Agency Starts 5pm CST/6pm EST

That's exactly how I see it, too.

I can't wait to see how high up the ranks of "everyone else" Dallas can get. You could tell me they'd be fourth or tenth, and I'd believe you.

Agree.

It's a honest point of view.

Does Denver still have an exception?

Bruce Brown and THJ both veteran minimum.

Free agent forward Josh Minott has agreed to a two-year, $5 million deal with the Boston Celtics, sources tell ESPN. Celtics executives finalized the new deal with Minott's agent, Aaron Turner of Verus.

Why did they give Poetl a 12 year contract extension?

I didn't know Ayton had vocal talents as well!! Cool

Is it over yet? How many big names are left to sign? FAgency seems to be slowing down.

I just had an idea.

How to get Haliburton in exchange for Gafford and is it worth it to think that way?

48.9 mill is Haliburtons salary so nope. We would have to add in a lot and he may not be worth that much after he rehabs.

As far as LA I hope they are lottery bound for next few years due to our having their pick and I want Luka to leave LA as soon as he can.

Dave McMenamin via ESPN Radio: The Lakers have a couple avenues that they are monitoring or engaging in trade-wise to address the center position. There is a list of teams in the mix for Ayton and his camp has said it will “come down to what DeAndre wants.”

Houston is doomed they got a lot of regular season success and nothing to show for it in the playoffs. Dallas is 10 deep plus their talent is more playoff proven as is currently built and they may improve with further wheeling and dealing.

Irving DLo BWill Nembard*
Klay Max Hardy Kelly*
Cooper Naji Martin
AD PJ OMax
Lively Gafford Powell Mousa*

Say we move Powell to add Kai then OMax and add Exum then you have guys you can play just to rest your rotation guys at the PG SG SF PF and C

With Kyrie out you can play 3 guys in DLo BWill and Nembhard maybe Cooper and Naji
SG Klay Max Hardy Cooper Naji Martin

There is speculation that Damian Lillard could be back around the All-Star break and there are double-digit teams calling him interested in signing him, per @MarcJSpears

“I’ve stayed pretty close on Deandre Ayton since the buyout, I would have reported if the Lakers were in the drivers seat. Chris Haynes reported the Lakers were in a strong position to land him, I haven’t been given that terminology from the Lakers or Aytons camp.”

Horford would be kind of funny as the new starting center in LA - sure Luka would know how to play with him outside, but he’s exactly the opposite of the vertical floor spacer who opens things up on the inside for the Don.

So who are the other potential bidders for Ayton. I know Indy has history there but not sure I see it.

I could see Golden state gambling, but they feel more likely for Horford or Vucevic(sign and trade).

Lakers need to be the heavy favorite for Ayton right?

I wouldn't say they're doomed. This could be the year they get over the hump even though OKC is still the favorite. The talent they have is unquestioned. Did anyone expect the Pacers to get to the Finals? Every year is different, and just because they've had regular season success in the past, that doesn't mean they can't have future playoff success.

Lakers, Warriors, Pacers, Celtics all have a need at Center.

Like you, I think the Warriors are a good match with Horford and the Lakers are the clear favorite for Ayton.

My prediction has been that the Lakers will sign Ayton and trade Knecht? for Nick Richards.
