2025 draft thread: THE MAVS SELECT COOPER FLAGG
Evan Sidery (@esidery)
The Jazz are in active trade discussions with multiple teams on Collin Sexton.

After trading up for Walter Clayton Jr. with the Wizards, Sexton is on the way out of Utah.

Atlanta takes Drake Powell... which also is a curious pick?

Slated to go in the 2nd round but goes 22nd.

There were rumors the kings could get a first round pick. There were also rumors OKc is open to trading a pick. Presti is going to do the Kings dirty right?

I don’t know if he has any inside info but this is pretty obvious. Interesting to know his market.

They should trade for Dwight so that the Powell brothers can play together.

Really interesting moves by BKN. Already drafted three guys and they have two more picks. With huge cap space still open (they will have to sign someone or trade for someone), I wonder where they will get the roster slots for all these guys

He's going to Brooklyn.

Didn't someone list Dallas and Sacramento as interested?

Atlanta takes Newell at 23rd. Really interesting draft by Atlanta so far.

And after sobering up myself, I remembered that the Nets traded for the Hawks 22nd pick, so Powell is actually apart of Brooklyn's haul thus far.

And compared to Atlanta, Brooklyn on the other hand feels like they are drunk at the wheel. Egor, Traore, Powell. So many reaches.

Can´t believe ESPN actually has an up to date draft board tracking the trades in real time not on a 24h delay.

They are being fed the info by Shams ahead of time so they know the pick 5 mins ahead of us now.

Low key I'm shocked Danny Wolf and Liam McNeeley are still on the board. If we weren't so desperate for guard depth I'd be PINING for either of those guys.

I think both can be big players.

Nets have gone crazy.

Egor, Traore, and Saraf. 3 point guards.

Powell a SG too. 4 guards in the first round.
