AROUND the NBA:
(02-28-2025, 09:21 PM)SleepingHero Wrote: This team has valuable young pieces?

There is only 1 dude who is under 25 I'd trade on the team currently and that's Lively. Everyone else is of course available for the right price. KD, even at this stage of his career, is still an All-NBA all-star level guy who can EASILY score 25+ a night on 50/40/90.

I would love KD on the Mavs. My only caveat is that I'd want to keep PJ+Lively in the trade if we really want to compete. Those two are bonafide studs. Klay as well but we need to send out money unfortunately.

Omax, Hardy, Martin, Naji, Gafford, Powell, are all expendable.

I consider Lively and Max definitely young. But, even PJ is still younger at 26. He is only in his 6th season and still not in his prime. Those are some good young pieces to build with. I don't want any of those 3 moved.
Find me at Lakersball.com. I'm done with the Nico and the Mavs.

Christie is a good prospect, nothing special right now... Hyped too much because he is the only part of the Doncic trade who can play basketball in these days.

He does seem to get hurt a lot. That's a problem with some bigs that are over 7ft tall.

Yes... And pairing him with Anthony street clothes day-to-Davis is a suicide. But someone here is happy. Wow.

Quentin Grimes won. Didn't accept the Mavs contract offer and bet on himself. It doesn't always work out like this for players but it looks like he will get a huge contract somewhere, maybe double what the Mavs would have given him

Cleveland is on their 3rd 12-game winning streak this season, and are
an NBA best 52-10.

Pritchard and White are the 1st Celtics teammates to score 40 or more points
in the same game. They also set a record for made 3's between teammates
with 19. (10 for Pritchard and 9 for White)

Joker with the first 30-20-20 grant in NBA history. Absolutely insane performance

Joker is one of one. Most assists by a Center in NBA history. I bet Denver will never trade him either. You don't trade transitional or generational players, and he surely is one.

Brunson out 2 weeks with a severe ankle sprain.
I could see them tumble in the standings. He's their
heart and soul.

That's kind of weird. Why is it great news? Do you actively wish for players to get injured?

I'd never thought I'd say this, but Russell Westbrook fits Denver better than any other team he's been on. He has great chemistry with the Joker.

I'm not a fan of his game at all, especially now that he's past the stage of his career where he's allowed to be on-ball constantly, but I agree, he fits there better than I thought he would, and definitely better than he fit at his last few spots.

If that guy plays for the Lakers yes, if that guy is a LeBron James absolutely yes.

His problem was ever been PO basketball... If opponents can let him wide open he can't be on the floor.

So, for $8m/yr., who do you like: Westbrook or Thybulle?
