Jason Kidd says Max Christie and Danté Exum are available to play against the Sacramento Kings.

The Dallas Mavericks ruled out Anthony Davis, P.J. Washington, Caleb Martin, Dereck Lively II, and Dwight Powell.

A lot to ask Gaffford to go up against both Sabonis and Jonas without getting in foul trouble. Sabonis by himself is such a tough guard. I have no idea how Mavs steal 20 minutes at center. May be the key to the game.

If I am the kings plan a b and c is to get Gafford in early foul trouble

"Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving has been named by commission Adam Silver as the All-Star injury replacement for Anthony Davis, the league announced in a press release. Irving will play for Team Shaq in the 2025 NBA All-Star Game."

Don't get hurt either!

Time to bring up our G League center as well as our Lakers G League guy. That should be no fun to watch. Who knew we would miss Dwight Powell so much.

Press Release: “Silver throws pitiful Mavs a bone.”

Pretty embarrassing for the Kings for the Mavs to even be somewhat in this given the injuries. I mean sheesh.

Maybe they pull away in the 2nd half but this is shocking to me.

We’re getting close to that point……The thought certainly has crossed my mind.

What a bummer of a year. Hopefully that is a few weeks injury and not out for the year injury. Those can go either way.

Mavs fighting hard but you have to wonder if the Kings take care of the ball, if the Mavs can get enough stops.

Nice minutes for Omax. Man, when Klay not hitting his shots, he looks like he shouldn’t be out there.

At some point, the medical /training staff has to have some accountability on this, all the injuries cannot just be coincidence..

well at least they are not "enablers" - they certainly did not enable the team to be healthy this season

or i guess Luka's bad conditioning and habits ( that are bad for culture) really started rubbing off on people causing them to be badly conditioned and prone to injuries - thankfully he is gone now

One of O-Max’s best games. Gonna need every ounce from him to have a chance tonight.

One hopeful positive on Gafford’s knee injury is that it looked like a hyperextension injury. Those are typically very painful at first, but recovery can be quicker than a ligamentous injury (although hyperextension injuries can damage ligaments, too). Sometimes an associated bone bruise can extend recovery time, however.

It looked like a hyperextension.  Just hope it wasn’t an acl.
