This is tough. I've spent way more time defending hated players than hating them. I'm a longtime "most hated Mav" champion, going all the way back to Eric Dampier.

For me, it's probably either Porzingis or Boban, from semi-recent seasons. That DAJ year was tough but didn't last very long. I definitely didn't enjoy either of JaVale McGee's stretches here. Not sure who, from all time.

Ooooooh, that's a good one. I have never been more excited about an addition that turned out to be such a disaster.

Mark Cuban.

He is the first, second, third, and fourth fat face on the Mt. Rushmore of Dallas shame.

I definitely think the line starts behind Rajon

I'm as big of a Cuban-hater as the next guy, but there was a good decade (the better part of it, at least) where he almost single-handedly pulled this franchise out of the gutter. He made numerous innovations to both the team and league, he injected confidence and ambition into the team, he believed in the Nelsons (which was the right choice at the time, even if he believed in Donnie a bit too long) when other new owners likely wouldn't have and rightly stuck by the Nash/Dirk direction they had set up right before he acquired the team.

Yeah, most of the stuff he did from about the time he didn't re-sign Nash was wrong, and there have been times this past decade when I prayed for him to sell the team, but now that he has, I feel like given enough time I might come to look back on his ownership era with some fondness.

Bubble Burke is closer to having his jersey in the rafters than being most hated, tbqh.

Burke isn't a man of the people. Boban's giant heart is large enough to play for all teams in Texas and still end up as one of the most liked players among all three fanbases.
Or is this about the Tobi-Bobi bromance. Is your hatred for Tobias Harris is blinding your judgement? Or is your hatred for slow bigs in drop defense the cause of this injustice?

It certainly doesn’t help, but I think my hatred of Boban (as a player) is more about how a quadriplegic koala fresh off of a eucalyptus bender could probably run the floor faster and move through defensive rotations better than Boban.

Koalas are adorable. So is Boban.

The most frustrating thing about this 4-year bit is that I know you agree with me.

Chandler Parsons
Erick Dampier
Mark Cuban
Lamar Odom
Kris Humphries
Dominique Jones (Don't know why I didn't like him. Maybe because he was a scrub wasted draft pick)
