Trade & FA 2024-25:
I will continue to hope for a three year deal, but I do like the $16.2 m starting point. Much better than I expected when this all first started, and MUCH better than Tobias Harris starting at $26 m, or whatever.

Have I mentioned that I'm happy Harris is off the table? You guys all get that Dallas can't sign him now, right? The floor for this off-season just got higher.

Yes we are all bots and you are the only one with reading comprehension skills here. You caught us.

He's just weighing what team to join to stick it to GS for his perceived disrespect. The Lakers are a division rival that play 4 times a year. He'll get more shot opportunities with the Lakers, but Dallas has the better team. Tough call for him.

Just joking, my guy. I love you just the way you are.

Stephen A Smith just gonna throw that little bit of info in there saying that he is being told Klay is gonna sign with the Mavericks....

Spurs will seriously compete for playoffs this season, imho

But I'm pretty against the Klay thing full stop.  Giving a guy who is clearly declining 4 years is nuts.

I like his fit here and a few others do also, but most don't seem to want him here or they only want him as a 6th man. Nico, Kidd, Luka and Kyrie must think he's a good fit and that's all that will matter in the end.

Boston Celtics guard Derrick White has agreed on a four-year, $125.9 million contract extension, sources tell ESPN. The deal includes a player option. Huge offseason priority for the champs.

My head hurts. There's too much free agency going on when you're an NBA fan and an NHL fan at the same time.

I'm hoping for a four year deal, with the fourth year being a team option.

They 100% will. Batum going there would be a fantastic signing.

I'm holding out hope he'd rather ring chase than play with Wemby.

So will Houston. They got close this year. And can't forget about Memphis.

Sure seems like that's their aim!

And, Memphis might be good again. Easy to forget about them.

New Orleans might (MIGHT) be better with a real PG.

Man, Batum to Spurs can't be good for our Mavs especially Luka.

Team option would make that 4th year much better, so that would be fine.

3rd year, non-guaranteed, would be even better, but maybe that's too much to hope for.

Either way, I don't expect he'll be here 3-4 years. Two would be my guess.

Meh. The Spurs signing a few guys on the verge of retirement doesn't really do much for me.

Maybe not, but the young players they have would learn a ton. I think it speeds things up for them, at the very least.
