GAME 5 NBA FINALS: DALLAS MAVERICKS (1-4) vs BOSTON CELTICS (4-1)
Also y'all see how THJ just let White just pull up a 3? Thats the defensive difference between him and any other average NBA level defender. He's horrible.

Jaylen Brown 100% deserves it.

Caruso is the obvious candidate. But Chicago is stupid.

To be fair. I see no difference compared to Luka, Kyrie and Gafford (when he was asked to step out of the paint) today.

this doesn't hurt nearly as bad as 2006 at least
some comfort in knowing that the Celtics are a much superior team

That's fair. But all those 3 guys have been able to play pretty heavy minutes this entire run. THJ has been the definition of unplayable. Like he needs to go to China type of unplayable.

Tatum beats Luka to a ring. Didn’t think that would happen. He badly outplayed Luka in this game. It’s a rivalry. They’re the same age. Both first team all NBA players. Tatum leads 1-0.

Tatum is pushing hard for it, he thinks he has a chance. Holiday is actually more deserving (2nd to Brown)

Lets not pretend that Tatum had any significant role in this series. Luka outplayed him literally every game. Brown, Holiday, Porzingis, Horford, and White all were WAY more integral and won Boston the games. Tatum was whatever.

Put Luka around that level of talent and that team has an argument of going 74-8 or better.

I think they are not on the same level as players, Boston is just a much better team.

I think the rivalry is with a guy like Shai, who is probably on Luka's level. Both 25 too.

Luka is shooting close to 20% from three and 60% from the FT line in this series. Nearly as many TOs as ASTs, too. He´s not outplaying anybody.

Keep cherry picking the only 2 stats that Luka is underperforming in.

Ignore the PPG/RPG/APG/SPG/ +/-  On/Off

Such a weird battle to choose.

Oh and Tatum is shooting 37% from the field and 29% from 3. How is that any better than Luka?

I am out. Really fun season.

Sucks to get this close and not win it. Plus you lose to the most entitled, obnoxious fans in the league. That sucks.

Nico has his work cut out for him still. May not happen this summer. Keep the internal development going. They need that final move. The tricky part is 7 teams in the west think they are a move a way

I sleep easy at night knowing all the other teams don't have Luka Doncic on their team !

Winning is the only stat that matters amongst great players. I'm not a Tatum fan, but let's not take away from Tatum to defend our own guy.
