Man that PG trade is looking better all the time. Plus all the 1st round picks. Plus Gallo, if we trade him we’ll get more value. SGA has game!

And lastly I’ll be so sad if we trade Stevo. He is very smart yet funny. Watch to the end lol.

When the PG trade happened I had no idea how good SGA was. But wow he has hops. Very happy with that trade now. Have a cornerstone for the future.

My goodness I am having unexpected fun this year. SGA went into Toronto and won this game. 32/7/2 and 3 steals. We played without Dennis, Gallo and Diallo. If you look at our roster tonight its quite amazing to me.
Which leads me to Billy who should be in the coach of year discussion. He has taken a disgruntled CP3 and Gallo plus a bunch of role players and turned them into a playoff seed. Endured many injury lost games. He is coaching these players up and I was pretty down on Billy before season. It seems to me with all the player turnover he was able to implement his system.
This team after 32 games has the same record as Russ/PG/Melo had after same amount. But now the future looks bright vs being at the end of a run. SGA tho, wow he is really playing great!

On top of SGA we got Gallo. And the 6 first round picks. I am stunned with this to be honest. SGA is already a cornerstone and leads me to believe we won’t be in a hurry to move players except for maybe Gallo and even then we might run it out to Feb. Now, we are not gonna go anywhere if we do make playoffs which even that is not a given. But I fully expected a tank year. With the assets we may not need to go into full tank. Some of the players we used tonight due to shorthanded was amazing to pull out a win. But SGA is fun to watch and he isn’t making many turnovers.

Apparently in last night's debacle Kobe trash talked Luka... in Slovenian

Because he grew up in Europe I know Kobe speaks several languages but I wonder if he actually spent some time to pull this because even in Europe not many know that language. Impressive either way

Kobe was pretty close with Vujacic, Slovenian who played for Lakers several seasons. I guess he might have picked a couple of words then

RIP David Stern. Probably the greatest commissioner of any sports league ever. He grew the NBA from finals games being shown on tape delay, to a marketing, global, world wide phenomenon .

It's always going to be a lightning rod for criticism but Stern always handled it like a pro.
I think amongst many Mav fans, they'll always resent him for 2006 NBA Finals but for the NBA as a whole, he was truly brilliant. He played a bigger role than I realized in my childhood of becoming an NBA fan. Stern will be missed.

This season was basically a fresh start. I’ve been saying it recently but finally he is getting noticed. He was a great college coach in over his head at first. Had em in position year one but KD and Russ choked up 3-1.
Fresh start his system is working. I was ready to fire him but think he needed different players.

Looks like clearing out some of the egos has let him implement the system he wants.
I thought they would be selling off vets by this point.
Still think they would be happy to dump Paul’s contract if possible.
Hopefully they stay health and can sneak into the playoffs.
They would be an annoying team to play in the 1st round.
Would like to see Paul and LBj go at each other.

Issac out for at least 2 months.
Unfortunately for the Magic and probably means Gordon is off the market.

I now don’t see us tanking. No way they can move CP. Maybe Gallo if he asks but I think they let it ride.

then they can hand the team over to SGA and trade for a good SG.
SGA is the future and he seems to be ready now as well .

My goodness I’m falling for this team. Had zero, I mean zero expectations this year and these guys are gelling so good. Another come from behind (and road) win at a place we lost 9 in a row. Did we possibly fleece LAC on the trade? I had no idea SGA was this damn good! Get him to the ASG!
SGA with a cool 25/7/5 stat line
Adams with 14/8/3
I cannot believe we keep this up we play 17 games in Jan the schedule is rough with 10 away and 7 home. But in last 6 games we won 5 and beat some contenders too. Wins over Clippers, Hornets, Raptors, Mavs and now Spurs. 8-1 in last 9.
I am just beside myself as a fan. 180 from prior years high expectations and no results.

Come on, I am getting tired of your zero expectations season You have great players. Excellent vets in Paul, Gallo and Adams and useful 6th man Schroeder. The only thing unexpected is SGA explosion. And you clearly won the Houston trade - got picks and better player A lot of us were saying you are a fringe play-off team. Price for your vets is only going up as you are not forced to sell at all. If someone wants one of your guys, they will have to pay a fortune.

SGA was one of my faves going into that draft.
